Geneva Here I come!

So much has happened since I last blogged, one year MBAs are so hectic. You're either going for lectures, writing assignments, researching, or partying! (don't get me wrong though, I'm not complaining) Anyway it's such a relief that my exams finished on the 16th of March. We celebrated the end with a Poker Night combined with St Patrick's Day party. Some pics are below.

Though the rest of Cambridge is having Easter Vacation, we don't get that luxury we're working on the Global Consultancy Project. I'm not complaining though, cos this is the chance that we get to practically apply all the stuff that we learnt in the class room to real life problems faced by Global firms. So we get real consultancy practice while the firms get solutions for some particular issue that they are facing for free. It's a win-win situation.
Our consultancy project team comprises of 5 girls and 1 guy and our client is in Geneva. So we're now known as the Charlie's Angels (we've got 5 Angels!) Our client in Geneva is supposed to be Charlie, as we actually gather around a speaker phone to talk to him and 'take his orders.'

I'm so excited right now, cos we'll be visiting we'll be getting to see Charlie in Geneva on the 29th March. That's going to be so much fun. I'll post lots of pics after I come back.

The single guy in the group is John. Some think he's really lucky to be working with 5 crazy girls and others sympathise with him. Take your pick!

Here's a pic of the Charlie's Angels team.

Some have actually altered our name to Charities Angels as we're working on a Not-for-profit project. I've always had a strong interest in the not for profit sector and have been volunteering often in Sri Lanka. I initially considered doing a project for more technically inclined company as my background is in engineering but then thought it might be better to actually do something like this as I wouldn't really get the chance to do this again.

We have a very international team and yesterday we thought of have an initiation pot luck dinner with an international dinner. It was great. Here's more pics of the Charlie's (Charity's) Angels.

This brings to mind another Charlie's Angels I was part of long ago... If the other two Angels read this I'm sure you'll know. That was when I was studying computer after ALs but waiting to enter uni...
